Remodeling Chatham kitchens
Much of Chatham was built in the last few decades, so most kitchens here already have a workable layout. The common projects are updates rather than rebuilds: builder-grade cabinets swapped for something better made, laminate counters replaced with quartz or stone, and lighting that actually reaches the work surfaces.
Where the layout does need to change, it’s usually to add an island or open a wall to the family room, and newer framing tends to make that simpler than it is in older houses.
